Accreditation and Mission


Creighton University is an approved CE provider by the states of Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota and South Dakota. Creighton is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP (Continuing Education Recognition Program) is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.


As a dental educational institution, Creighton University has an obligation to disseminate information related to the practice of dentistry. Some programs may contain controversial information or product references. Sponsorship of such a program does not indicate an endorsement by Creighton University. In the spirit of academic freedom, this information is offered to the dental professional community so participants have the opportunity to weight the validity and usefulness of material presented, according to their own professional experience and judgment.


The mission of the Dental Continuing Education Program is to provide an ongoing program to serve the educational needs of the dental community. It is to provide dental professionals a means to continually update their knowledge in all phases of Dentistry, enabling them to provide their patients with the best dental care.

  2. Provide speakers/authorities from our faculty to outside dental groups, concerning new technologies and treatment modalities.
  3. Provide speakers/authorities from our faculty to non-dental groups, concerning general topics of interest or concern.
